Manish Das heads the Jashanmal Group’s Franchise Retail Business, with a portfolio including international brands like Bally, Paul & Shark, Brooks Brothers, Stuart Weitzman, Clarks, Calvin Klein Underwear, Max & Co, T M Lewin and Kipling, to name a few. His wide corporate role and responsibilities included setting up the shared services vertical comprising Finance, IT, HR, Logistics and Legal. He is also responsible for the Group’s Joint Ventures which include Burberry, Christian Dior, Faces (Kuwait) and Coty (Calvin Klein Perfumes) and often acts as an Alternate Director for the Chairman of Jashanmal Group on these joint ventures. He has also handled several legal matters to successful conclusion, including a very complex, significant and material International Arbitration (LCIA) matter for the Group. Prior to joining the Group, Das has held various leadership positions in Ernst and Young, Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse. He was the Dubai Government’s representative to the World Bank and IMF as the finance team leader of Dubai 2003 – the body set up by the Dubai Government to conduct the annual meetings of the World Bank and IMF in Dubai in 2003.
