Kristian Stinson is the co-founder and CEO of Hopi, a premium daily contact lens brand selling directly to consumers across the GCC. Stinson co-founded Hopi, together with business partner Charles Wright, in December 2019 to disrupt the antiquated contact lens retail model and bring high-quality daily lenses directly to customers at honest prices. Stinson is responsible for overseeing the overall development of Hopi, including marketing, sales, finance and distribution management. This is his second entrepreneurial venture. Prior to launching Hopi, he co-founded Studio EM in 2011, a Dubai-based interior architecture firm specialising in retail, hospitality and F&B projects. As pioneers of the direct-to-consumer e-commerce model in the Middle East, Stinson and Wright have also set up the DTC ME group to facilitate knowledge exchange between other DTC colleagues to help other co-founders operating in the space.
