Spotting a gap in the market on arrival, Jones secured funding for Mini Exchange in a matter of months, growing from an exchange platform for parents to a hugely successful e-commerce venture in just two years. With fresh ideas and innovations, Jones has never lost the thirst for clinching a business deal first-hand and is a self-confessed workaholic. In 2016, Jones turned her attention to growing the brand portfolio to include ‘At Home’ and Pre/Post Pregnancy ‘Get Fit’ categories, thus paving the way for Mini Exchange to evolve and become Sprii.com – a destination providing Everything For Mums. A natural extension for the online portal, a brand refresh followed in early 2017 to establish this as the core proposition of the business, focusing on top categories and products required by the modern mothers.

Stevi Lowmass
Stevi Lowmass
Founder & Owner - The Camel Soap Factory

The idea of creating a Dubai-based soap factory came to Stevi Lowmass after a visit to an Australian soap manufacturer in 2008. As a long-time resident of the UAE, and a host to many friends and family visiting her, Lowmass was all too aware of the shortage of beautiful local souvenirs that reflected the rich traditions of the region. The creation of a company to address this gap in the market became an obsession. By 2011, Lowmass had established a home industry supplying school fairs and markets with soaps made in her garden shed. It soon became apparent that an industrial license would be required and so The Camel Soap Factory was born. What started as a home industry is now recognised as a premium gifting brand in the UAE and is world’s largest manufacturer of camel milk-based skincare.
