Ryan Den Rooijen has joined the Chalhoub Group as group head of data and analytics in charge of leading the data transformation stream with a goal to make using analytics as natural to the organisation as using the internet. Rooijen has previously worked with Dyson and Google; he has been recognised for exceptional achievements and brings a wealth of knowledge in the tech industry. He has an MSc in Social Science of the Internet from the University of Oxford. He is now an advisory board chair of MSc/DPhil in Social Data Science contributing to the development of the Oxford Internet Institute’s newest degrees. Most of his work involves the practical application of analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). In line with the Chalhoub Group’s strategic transformation plans, Rooijen’s mission will be instrumental to operationalise analytics & AI capabilities, and to develop data products for the Group and its trusted partners.
